Go to flipanim.com and start drawing on the notepad in the center of your screen. You can draw as much or as little as you like on each page of your notepad.
In a similar manner to the way that old hand drawn cartoons were done you are drawing a piece of your animation on each notepad page.
After you have finished drawing on all of your pages you can preview the animation. Just press the play button. To save your work upload it to Flip Anim then you can download it as an animated GIF.
Applications for Education
Flip Anim is a handy, simple tool to create animated teaching GIFs. Students could use Flip Anim to illustrate short pieces of dialogue from a book. They might also make simple comics for a creative writing class.
